When people ask me "What is your IP?" I usually answer "Both". But a more thorough answer would be "Both, v4 and v6." I work in IT and anyone in this field should know the difference between "The Internet Protocol" and "An Internet Protocol Address". When I try to have Google answer me what my IP address is, I usually type "What is my IPv4 address" or "What is my IPv6 address". I'm not doing this to be snarky, but having worked with IPv6 daily for 18 years (while co-habitating with IPv4) does this to you. When someone says "What is your IP?" my head really hears "What is your Internet Protocol?". Vsauce seem to be an intelligent bunch, they should update their vocabulary in this field, so that hopefully one day people will understand the Internet a little better.

The second most Googled thing is "What is the time"? WHAT IS THE TIME??? You mean to tell me you can't just look at the top right part of your screen or the bottom right??? That's just plain LAZY!

My grandparents knew a guy and his wife who kept all of their money inside of duffel bags in their attack because they didn't trust banks. They had like $300,000+ dollars in their attack. Their house burned down. They also didn't believe in giving away money for insurance on things that MIGHT need it, but probably never will (their opinion, not mine). So they literally lost everything, at age 79 and 83. Their house, their life savings, everything they owned. I mean, if you're going to do this, at least invest in waterproof, fireproof safes.. I just realized, I should probably add, everyone in the community helped them out and helped them get back on their feet. And they made it out with their lives, even if they lost pets. So it wasn't al over for them. They got help from family, and the community decided to help whether they wanted it or not. Within a few weeks, they were moving into a rental home. A few years after that, they had inherited a home from a relative. It must've sucked though. They just drove home one night, after going to some Christmas event, and their house is on a smoldering mess. Everything they owned besides their car and the clothes on their backs, gone. Just goes to show not only should you take care of your money and protect it, but you should always have completely separate emergency funds available and set aside.
